“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.” – Helen Keller
As your NSLC program enters it’s final full day you may begin to wonder how life will be when you return home. How will you share with your family and your friends all that you experienced and learned while at the NSLC? It would be impossible to fully do so, but what is not impossible is to see yourself as a leader within your circle of influence and act accordingly. What is your vision for the people in your life? If you could create anything with them, what would it be? You now have some new ideas and new tools available to you. Using them is up to YOU. As Helen Keller said, “… a daring adventure, or nothing.” May your adventure be one that fills you with joy and empowers others… always.
